General
What is Seyyah SRguideX?
Seyyah SRguideX is a digital tour guide app for Umrah, Hajj and sightseeing tours. It streams the guide's voice live to participants, shows the group's real-time location on a map, and brings the tour program, group chat, a shared photo gallery, polls and SOS alerts into one app. Agencies also get a web-based tour management panel.
Who develops Seyyah SRguideX?
The app is developed by SRtech Serra®, based in Çukurova, Adana, Türkiye. Contact details are on the Contact page.
Who is it for?
Tour guides, tour participants and travel agencies that organise tours. Guides and participants use different roles and screens in the app; agencies use the web panel.
Is Seyyah SRguideX free?
Downloading the app is free. Contact us via the contact form or WhatsApp to learn about our solutions for agencies.
Which phones does it support?
The Android version is available on Google Play. The iOS version is in preparation; its App Store link will be published on this site once it is live.
What language is the app in?
The mobile app interface is currently in Turkish. This website is available in Turkish and English.
Using the app
How do participants join a tour?
When the guide creates a tour in the app, a tour code is generated. Participants download the app, sign up with email and enter this code to join the group.
Do participants need a separate headset or receiver?
No. Participants listen to the guide live on their own phone with any earphones connected to it. There is no separate receiver to hand out and collect.
Is an internet connection required?
Yes. Live audio, location sharing and chat work over the internet, so the guide's and participants' phones need mobile data or Wi-Fi.
How does the SOS button work?
With one tap, a participant sends the guide an emergency alert that includes their location. The guide sees the alert in the app and can find the participant on the map.
What can a guide do in the app?
Create a tour and invite participants, turn the live audio channel on and off, watch the group's location, share the program and announcements, create polls, manage SOS alerts and curate the tour gallery.
What happens to photos and messages after the tour?
Photos, messages and program notes shared during the tour remain accessible in the tour archive.
Privacy and safety
Is my location tracked all the time?
No. Your location is shared only while you actively take part in a tour and have granted permission; sharing stops when the tour ends. If you deny location permission the app keeps working, only the map features are disabled.
Is the guide's audio recorded?
No. Live audio is only relayed in real time and is not stored on servers.
Is my data shared with third parties?
Your personal data is never shared with or sold to third parties for advertising. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my account and data?
You can delete your account and data from Settings in the app, or by following the steps on the Account Deletion page.
Agencies
What is the agency panel?
A web-based management screen where agencies create tours, plan day-by-day programs, assign guides, manage participant lists, track income and expenses per tour and view reports. It runs in the browser with nothing to install.
Can I add participants in bulk?
Yes. Add participants one by one in the panel or import them in bulk from a CSV file.
How do I access the agency panel?
Log in with your agency account at srguidex.com/login. If you don't have an account yet, apply through the contact form.
Comparison
How is it different from classic radio tour guide systems?
Classic systems use a transmitter for the guide and a separate receiver for every participant; devices must be handed out, charged and collected, but no internet is needed. Seyyah SRguideX uses each participant's own phone and adds location tracking, the program, chat and SOS on top of audio; in return it needs an internet connection and a charged phone.
When is Seyyah SRguideX not a good fit?
It may not be the right choice for tours in areas with no mobile internet at all, for groups whose participants don't use smartphones, or when an app interface in a language other than Turkish is required.
